Lucky Throw

Okay. I'm sorry for the wait we've put all of you through, but we are soon going live again. It will either be by the end of this month, or in early January, but Thindra has been having some trouble, and further, has been working on her own comic as well. Building a buffer for both Lucky Throw and Guardians of Kurew. Hopefully, both comics will begin updating on alternating weeks in the coming months, if all goes as planned.

In the mean time, please, go spend time on our forums, give us some knowledge of your existence so we have some more reasons to keep going, as well as ask any questions on either of the settings.

I refuse to let Lucky Throw die, and this is a story that will be told my friends and readers. Thank you for your patience.

We've got some forums now in conjunction with Thindra's Guardians of Kurew (her comic is currently in the process of changing hosts and should be back up soon). We won't be updating the comic much this summer, computer access problems. But I will be doing lore updates on the lore section of the Lucky Throw Forums.

I wish you all the best of luck in your adventures, and thank you for bearing with us. I've finally sorted through my personal life and gotten my affairs in order, come autum, at the very latest, we'll be up and running on a regular schedule again.

We've both had some difficulties, but its mostly been on my end. So, if it hasn't already been noticed were on a temperary hiatus until stuff gets sorted and we have a backlog of pages, or we're going to call a hiatus again.

Hopefully we'll be back in a month or two. =3

I took a temporary job at my college. March 23 - April 17, excluding weekends and just don't have time to do all four updates during that time. And I don't feel like trying to get 6 updates up and ready within 2 weeks (2 for the next two weeks + 4 where I'm busy).

It doesn't take me long to sketch out a page, it does however take time to ink it ^^; but colouring is out of the question.

So, instead I thought I might try getting someone or a bunch of different people to colour the 4 updates that I'll be missing.

Page 12 is the first. Deadline: March 20 Date Up: March 27
Page 13 Deadline: March 27 Date Up: April 3
Page 14 Deadline: April 3 Date Up: April 10
Page 15 Deadline: April 10 Date Up: April 17

I do have time to add in the text. But the script will be given in the description.

Now I don't expect people to do this for free so in exchange for the colouring of one page of the comic will get you a free commission from me and this can include a background. But you might not get this until after April 17th (actually you probably won't) ^^;.

If you can't colour on the computer, print out the page and colour it. I don't care how it gets coloured.

I really don't want to pull a one month hiatus on the few readers we already have.

Some things have cropped up (Computer crashes, and other things in real life that take precedent) and we're unable to update today, There will most likely be one before the end of the weekend however. This is unlikely to take the form of a new page, but it will be a cover page for the entire chapter.

When it updates we'll place it temporarily as the newest page AND as the first page in the series, on the next update the one not where it's supposed to be (eg, the front) will be deleted. Thank you for your patience with us ^^

Yep, a fresh slate coming up. I'm deleting the archives from before Thindra's work, the art work pages (like Beowulf and Grendel) can be found at my deviant art page.

Also, we're getting into the main part of the prologue, it'll mostly be colored (I cannot guarantee it will always be colored, I'm not the artist, nor do I feel comfortable promising that Thindra will always do extra work for this comic)

I'm back ^^ but not alone this time, the art work will no longer be mine, but that of my good friend Thindra, who has so kindly agreed to help me. Words cannot express how happy I am to get this show back on the road, so, at risk of sounding repetitive (to you at least), thank you Thindra, thank you so much! ^-^

We'll be redoing the first pages, there'll be more pages this time around, not sure if I will delete the current ones or not, but since plot isn't really changing at all, just the pictures, I don't really see a problem, once we're fully up to speed I'll delete all the pages before, the art will be viewable on my deviantart page (http://shadowclasper.deviantart.com).

yes, I go to a private school, I've got some other stuff as well that I'm committed to... including a group writing project. I've managed to fix the problems using photoshop, but I'm basically saying "screw it" and dropping the damn program since I barely used any of the features it offered... paint can do the same things for slightly more hassle.

How ever, the scanner of doom has come back to haunt me, I swear I'm this close to taking a hammer to the gods-damned piece of alligator dung. since I can't seem to keep up with drawing (despite having the first few chapters completely scripted) I'm working on finding an author intrigued with the story who is willing to work with me here... for free.

Finally, the Epitome of Awesome Forums may be opening up to webcomic hosting (the owner and main operator: Xennik, is a friend... well hell, we're all friends really but you get the idea). If it does I'll be moving there and keeping a parallel site running here with no doo-hickies added on, no more extra lore, nor any bios, which I was planning on adding. Of course this is all a WHAT IF situation, IF Xennik opens up I'll be moving to there, if not, well I'll expand here as much as I can and try to update. But unless I can find an artist willing to work for the love of the job (haha, yeah right), I'm going to have to go on temporary hiatus until either A) Summer starts. or B)my scanners decide to begin working without a huge amount of work and my school has a dramatic drop in work load.

Again, sorry... I'm doing my best here, but it just isn't enough (thought I was going to be able to update again soon, reason I upgraded to premium T-T)
